About Mrs. Leone
"Nice person with high expectations" about sums up my classroom management style. The only time I raise my voice is when I need to be heard over active students. I try to address individual problems as privately as possible and use praise to reinforce good behavior and academic success.
My goal is to keep the momentum going in your classroom while you are away. A day without you in the classroom is never as good as day with you there, but it should not be a total loss! I am available for nearly every kind of teaching environment at any grade level, with rare exceptions.
I am dual certified K-6 General and K-12 Music. My Master's degree is in interdisciplinary arts, and I have used Multiple Intelligences extensively in planning and assessing.
I have a strong interest in the sciences, foreign languages, history, reading, and the arts.
Given at least skeletal lesson plans and the needed materials, I can run a regular content lesson in all the following areas with little or no difficulty (the percentage shows how much of my experience has been in each area, will not total 100%):
