The Wonderful World of Mrs. Leone
These recordings represent the work done primarily from 1/28/10-2/9/10 under the direction of Mrs. Su Leone while Mr. Pellas was home with his new little girl :-).
All scales listed are "concert". This means that C instruments such as the flute, glockenspiel and trombone play the concert pitch notes. Bb instruments such as the clarinet and trumpet play notes written a whole step higher. Eb instruments (the alto sax) play notes written two whole steps higher. Through the magic of physics, it all sounds the same to our ears! Here's a great article called "Transposing Instruments" by Catherine Schmidt-Jones.
